Workout Motivations Other Than Workout Songs
What motivates you to exercise consistently? Are there other motivators than music that motivate you to exercise? Clothing is a big motivator for me. In this post I will discuss what motivated me to lose weight. A healthy lifestyle includes looking good and feeling great. Athleisure is a trend that allows you to wear clothes to work out, but not just for the gym. They are my go-to clothes for running errands and shopping as well as driving my daughter to after-school activities. Here is a list of gym clothing brands I love.
Lululemon leggings are my favorite. The fabric is not too tight but stretchy. It provides compression and comfort. It is expensive but it has a lot of versatility. My favorite lines so far are Align and Wonder Under. Align leggings feel soft and hug your body like second skin. The fabric’s compression and moisture wicking is what I love about wonder underneath.
Nike is a household name in athletic wear. I love the nike Air Max Sneakers. I love the stability and shock absorption of the heel. Nike has evolved from a sportswear brand to a streetwear label. Nike is now a status symbol in pop culture.
You see it everywhere: the iconic trefoil symbol with its stripes! The original, oversized hoodie is fashionable and very comfortable. It’s the only sneaker my daughter likes, as it is very comfortable for wide feet.
Athleta is in the same league as Lululemon and offers a wide range of fashionable and comfortable gym clothes. The pants are my favorite from Athleta. They’re great for commute and travel. It also comes in petite sizes, which is a big plus. You can also find beautiful, comfortable leggings for your little girl and gymnastic suit for your older daughter.
Nordstrom’s Zella brand offers workout clothes. The Zella joggers are a favorite of my husband and me. The joggers are comfortable and well-made. We love the zipped pockets. Zella’s live in legging is another favorite product. It is cheaper than Lululemon, and the fabric is much more appealing to me.
Growing up, I was the shortest person in my class. This made me very insecure and poor in my gym classes. In the last few years, I didn’t know I could do 5 days of exercise per week. After seeing the positive results, I feel so motivated to continue exercising. You will see the results and you’ll keep going until you are satisfied! Here’s to an active, healthy lifestyle!
