My last update about Intermittent Fasting progress was almost a month ago. This month has been slow for weight loss. It’s almost like a stall. Today, I am still at 114. It’s not as simple as I thought. At first, I believed that losing 10 pounds in three months was possible. Based on current weight loss rates, it is unlikely that it will happen. Still, I feel better and my body looks slimmer.

So, I was asked what my average IF day looked like. Here’s my schedule, and what I ate yesterday

9AM: 1 tbsp manuka honey and 1 TBSP of lemon juice + 1 glass warm water 73 calories

11:15 AM: Brunch 500 Calories

Almond milk creamer, 2 tbsp coffee

Avocado whole wheat avocado toasts + 1 fried egg

It is very easy to make. If you have any questions, please let me know. This potato masher works great for mashing avocados especially if they are still a bit tough.

3 PM Snack: Dark Chocolate Nuts and Sea Salt Bar – Minis 100 Calories

5:30 PM Dinner: Thai Chicken Salsa from Trader Joe’s 500 Calories

I also consume 6-8 glasses of water throughout the day.

Total Calories: 1173

Sundays were the longest day of my fasting. I attempted to extend it to 22 hours. It is difficult to endure such a long time of fasting, but it becomes easier over time. The key to my success was to keep myself busy and not think about food. Naturally, I won’t eat calories for that day.

What’s the next step? I want to continue. This is a lifestyle change, not a quick fix. I’m not discouraged, even though I have lost a lot of weight over the past month. To be truthful, there is still room for improvement. It will be interesting, however, as I will be on vacation for two weeks in April. Are you sure I can do it during vacation? We’ll see, lol!

Have a great weekend, peeps! Again, thank you for reading!
