Are you aware that I enjoy spending time at home? I love spending time at home, especially in summer by the pool and on the patio. I’m outside most of the time, so long as there is sun. You can find me in the morning with my morning coffee and tapping away on my computer, or on the swing with a glass. Bugs are the only problem with all that time spent outside. I decided to give my tiki torch a facelift and make them pretty!

I started with a basic plastic flower planter that I bought from Walmart. The bronze planters are beautiful, but I don’t like the high price. Joanna, I’m the cheapest terra-cotta colored potters that I could find. I then spray painted them with bronze paint . They still look amazing three years later.

NOW, GET THE FUN PART!

I love to plant flowers and pick them up. This year, however, was the first year I discovered there were citronella flowers! You can be sure that I added one of these bad boys to each of my planters. I don’t know much about flower names, so I apologize. I try to choose something that is straight for the center and something that will grow well around the edges.

This is my favorite part of our outdoor space, so I hope you find some inspiration!
